One of my goals as a maker is to increase people's knowledge and appreciation of the huge variety of steels available for use in kitchen knives. As part of this, I run a weekly segment of my Instagram page called Steel Saturday where once a week I write a short piece about a steel. These posts are pretty time intensive and due to Instagram’s 2200 character limit, I often write way more content that doesn’t make it into those posts.
