Vanax SC

Vanax SC has a moderate volume(14%) of very fine carbides/nitrides consisting mostly of vanadium enriched chromium carbides/nitrides(10%) with an additional small volume of the harder MX-type vanadium carbides/nitrides(4%). Due to this structure, Vanax SC can be sharpened on ceramic or natural stones however it can be a little easier to use diamond stones if you have them

Vanax SuperClean is a powder metallurgy stainless steel with high nitrogen content. The nitrogen addition gives Vanax SC an extremely fine microstructure and the best corrosion resistance of any steel I offer. Compared to CPM MagnaCut, Vanax SC has Somewhat lower toughness and similar wear resistance.
